Sheila Dianne Hughes - Online Memorial Website

Today  marks the 17th year that my beloved sister went missing. It hurts so much when I think of all the years that has passed without her. My heart aches everyday for my sister and nephew. But, I know if her heart was right with God,  then she's up there with him. Only God and the ones that hurt my sister knows what really hapoen that night. I loved and miss her so much, that words can't explain it. Rest in peace my beloved sister and nephew, yall will always be in my heart.

Sheila and I met in 1997 in Hamilton, Alabama.  We attended Bevill State Community College.  We also was in the same dorm.  Everyday spent with Sheila was fun filled.  She ALWAYS made me smile and sometimes laugh so hard I cried!  I went to her home once in Aliceville, AL.  Her family is wonderful!  I never in a million years even thought this would ever happen.  All I do each day is ask myself why and who would do this to such a tender hearted person.  My heart breaks...  Dear Father, I pray that You will reach down and touch each person this has effected.  I pray especially for the family, give them that extra bit of strength to go on each day.  I pray you give them peace.  Please let the truth be found out so that this family can have closure.  Touch each of her friends so that we too can have peace in our hearts.  In Jesus Name I pray...Amen.
